Decoding My Strengths

For as long as I remember, I have been interested in personal development. I used to read some self-help books and have tried some of the recommended methods such as meditation and vision board.

As I hated one of my personality traits: being an introvert, and always find myself out of crowds doing something that was interesting to me regardless if that's boring to others.

Looking back, I know it was obvious that's how it should be and nothing wrong with that. A part of me was feeling bad about not getting involved in those crowds (by crowds I mean it's what most people do) and do my own things alone or pursue my passion. But it was what made me happy, so I had no regrets in doing that.

Eager to learn about my personality traits and to get the most out of every area in my personal developments, I decided to spend some time to try out the 16 personalities , which allows you to get a better understanding of your personalities based on proved studies of personality traits. It also gives you an insight on how to make the most of what you try to achieve considering your personality. (Interesting how they show geographical distribution as well! )

This time I decided to go through my personality traits to highlight my strengths I need to to harness and things I needed to work on less. (Btw, this is one of the best personality analysis websites I've ever came across!)

I turned out to be “THE CAMPAIGNER” (ENFP-A).

The Campaigner personality is a true free spirit. They're fiercely independent, and much more than stability and security, they crave creativity and freedom.

More information can be found on their website.

It describes my traits as follows:

  1. Introduction

  2. Strengths & Weaknesses

  3. Romantic Relationships

  4. Friendships

  5. Parenthood

  6. Career Paths

  7. Workplace Habits

  8. Conclusion

I was quite surprised by how detailed their results are:

My Strength

  • Curiosity - this is the most distinctive personality trait out of others: it's what keeps me motivated and help me find meanings in everything I do. It all starts from curiosity. For example, I was curious about building an online career , being location independent and started researching about how to make it come true.

  • Observant - I always try to find meanings to what happens to me :)

  • Find it Difficult to Focus – it's the opposite of my strength : how this backfires when what needs to be done is that sitting right in front of them. But I don't think this holds me back from getting things done.

  • Get Stressed Easily – This is what I've been learning: dealing with stress or pressure. Sometimes it leads to overthinking and makes me demotivated.

Conclusion

It's just a personality test and does't define who you really are, but at the same time it's

not only just beneficial for the professional environment but also in my personal life. It's one of the detailed, accurate analysis that I've received, and I highly recommend you to check it out!
